A PILGRIMAGE TO SCANDANAVIA & ST PETERSBURG
12 DAYS: JUNE 5-16, 2019 - SPECIAL DISCOUNT PRICE - $3699

Dear Friends,

I am leading a 12-days pilgrimage of Northern Europe.  It will start with a night stay in Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, where we will see storybooks on castles, canals, cobbled squares and copper spires come alive! Then we will embark on the famous Norwegian Getaway Cruise Ship for an extraordinary experience of the Baltics:  Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Russia, Finland, and Sweden.  You are invited to join me in this spiritual walk of faith.  You will feel the presence of God in the many historic shrines and magnificent churches of those countries. Together, we will pray, discover new places, experience good Christian community, and deepen our awareness of the Grace of God in our lives.  Each day will bring new vistas, memorable experience, and many new friends.  Of course, there will be ample time to relax over good food, explore local sites on our own, and experience great shopping opportunities, too. This pilgrimage is sure to make memories of lifetime.  Come and see!

Sincerely in Christ,

Fr. Bruce Orsborn

JUNE 8 DAY 4: WARNEMUNDE, BERLIN: Dock in Warnemunde, Germany, with the opportunity to take an optional tour to historic Berlin. It's been more than two decades since the walls came down and Berlin became unified in many ways, including the pursuit of joy. Germany's capital city is a city that balances cosmopolitan chic with a liberal undercurrent of creativity and cool. Famous landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag fascinate. The elegant Bavarian Quarter amazes.

JUNE 9 DAY 5: AT SEA: Spend the day at sea.

JUNE 10 DAY 6: TALLINN, ESTONIA: Morning arrival in Tallinn, Estonia. The capital of Estonia entrances cruise guests with its mix of medieval houses and very modern boutiques and cafe culture. Journey inside the ancient walls of Old Town to explore stunning Medieval landmarks like Toompea Castle and a 15th Century apothecary shop. Move up a couple centuries to experience Tsar Peter I's Kadriorg Palace, filled with art and surrounded by sculpted gardens and peaceful woodlands.

JUNE 11 & 12 DAYS 7 - 8: ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA: Spend two days in St. Petersburg, built by Peter the Great. Here you will find the Summer Palace, the Peter and Paul Fortress, and the magnificent rooms of the Hermitage Museum. Founded by the Russian Tsar, Peter the Great, St. Petersburg has for centuries been the cultural center of Russia, with its spectacular architecture, Tchaikovsky operas and the famous Kirov ballet. It has undergone many changes over the decades, but “The Venice of the North” remains a dazzling cruise destination, a Russian city with a European flair, a city with more than 200 museums, and one of the largest English gardens in Europe!

JUNE 13 DAY 9: HELSINKI, FINLAND: Welcome to Scandinavia's “White City of the North,” a city defined more by its people and Art Nouveau architecture than its chilly climate (from October to April). Helsinki is a classic sea-city, with a dramatic coastline colored by bays and inlets. The city keeps its historical roots intact. Helsinki is a fusion of romantic, baroque, neo-classical, and ultra-modern architecture. Chance to visit the great Uspenski Cathedral and the unusual Tempeliaukio church, carved out of rock.

JUNE 14 DAY 10: STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN: Laced by an ingenious network of waterways and bridges strung between a freshwater lake and the sea, Stockholm is easily seen on foot or by waterway cruise. Its gabled old townhouses peer over cobblestone streets, while its magnificent 17th-century palace sits watching over the harbor.

JUNE 15 DAY 11: AT SEA: Enjoy a day at sea.

JUNE 16 DAY 12: COPENHAGEN / USA: Today we arrive back to Copenhagen. Disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for our flights home, carrying with us memories and keepsakes that will last a lifetime.
